- For someone who has never been in a kayak before, is this a safe and reasonable thing to do?
Yes. Most of our clients are first time kayakers (90%) and for this reason we give instruction. - Does age and physical fitness make a difference?
We've had people as young as 8 and as old as 88 years old kayaking for the first time. This is not a strenous day but is more casual and laid back. - What happens if the kayak capsizes when you're in it?
These kayaks never turn right over. They are quite stable and the most you will do is fall out. This happens very seldom, and all our emphasis in instruction is put on avoiding this happening. A guide is near by at all times. - Is Kawartha Kayaking recognized as a quality outdoor organization?
Yes, in 2005 it was awarded distinction by NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TRAVELLER for our Inn to Inn Kayaking.- One or two of the locations?
